A Good Book

This is the only book I own, that is housed in a textile dust-jacket. It is a photobook dedicated to the people who lived at Shek Kip Mei housing estate, Hong Kong, 1954–2006.

Re-reading Baudin’s faboulous book L’Effet Gutenberg, or at least trying to, with a french dictionary, as no translation exists. Baudin is reflecting not only on the art of typography, but of the design of the page and the ever-changing means of printing and designing with type.

Carole Goodman, Claudio Sotolongo and Stephen Heller are presenting cuban cinema posters from after the revolution. Do not be fooled by the cover – many gems in this book.
